NURTURE

Caring for others and encouraging people to nurture our environment is at the heart of creating Quarters. By cultivating a mindful approach to design and sustainability—prioritizing eco conscious materials and innovative packaging solutions—we demonstrate how thoughtful choices can help nurture our Earth.

OBJECTIVE
The goal of this project is to design sustainable packaging and eco-friendly products for Quarters, a sub-brand of Urban Outfitters. The aim is to align with the values of environmentally conscious young adults who care deeply about combating global warming and preserving the planet for future generations. By combining innovative sustainability practices with a hip, visually compelling aesthetic, the designs will resonate with Urban Outfitters’ creative spirit while inspiring a lifestyle that balances style and environmental stewardship.

SOLUTION
I began with research into Urban Outfitters brand identity and its alignment with the values of its young adult audience. It was clear that they value bold visual creativity, meaningful change, and environmental stewardship. The solution integrates a vibrant, fun, and eye-catching color palette with a minimal design approach, creating a distinct logo and packaging that both connects with Urban Outfitters’ aesthetic and stands on its own as Quarters.

Driven by the audience’s passion for combating global warming, Quarters’ eco-friendly product line is designed with sustainability at its core. Using recyclable and compostable packaging materials, reusable glass “forever bottles,” and cleaning tablet concentrates, this line minimizes environmental waste. This approach reduces the carbon footprint while capturing the young audience’s drive for change, creating a brand experience that is both visually compelling and environmentally responsible.
