ENDURANCE
Endurance is essential when creating a music festival like Wags & Jams, where the goal isn’t just to entertain but to make a lasting impact by supporting dog rescues. Endurance keeps the vision alive through every challenge. It’s about staying motivated and focused on the bigger picture: uniting people for a meaningful cause and ensuring the event’s success year after year.
OBJECTIVE
The goal is to develop a cohesive visual system for Wags & Jams, a music festival dedicated to supporting dog rescues and saving the lives of dogs. This project aims to establish a strong digital and visual presence that raises awareness for the social cause while fostering community engagement. The design will incorporate playful, vibrant, and approachable elements that embody the festival’s lively and heartwarming mission. Deliverables will focus on attracting attendees, encouraging participation, and showcasing the festival’s impact on San Diego-area dog rescues. The result will be an unforgettable experience that benefits both people and dogs alike.
SOLUTION
The design solution began with immersing in the San Diego community to explore how to blend the love for dogs with the excitement of music in a way that resonates with locals. Bands were carefully selected to align with the vibe of the target audience, creating a festival atmosphere everyone can jam to. A lively and inviting visual system for Wags & Jams was crafted, featuring a red, black, and alternative-rock-inspired color palette that exudes energy and edge, shaping the festival’s identity.
An eye-catching logo anchors the design, while playful, bold elements spark joy and curiosity across both print and digital deliverables. Each piece conveys key information while spreading the love for dogs. The goal was to make Wags & Jams a fun, heartwarming event that connects people, celebrates pups, and inspires support for local dog rescues.
