INDEPENDENT
Independence is at the core of an electric bike share company, reflected in both its users and its brand. For users, it offers freedom and self-reliance. For the brand, it embodies independence through a distinctive design that sets it apart from the competition.
OBJECTIVE
The goal is to create a modern, user-centered electric bike share brand with an accessible, sustainable, and independent identity that stands out from the competition. Cruize Ebike Share is designed to empower explorers by providing an eco-friendly alternative that is easy to use, reliable, and distinct from other bike share services. The brand engages its audience through a cohesive identity that reflects its unique values and bold designs, ensuring it stands apart in the market.
SOLUTION
I analyzed top competitors to identify a niche missing in the electric bike share market, leading to the creation of Cruize Ebike Share. This brand focuses less on speed and more on the journey. Inspired by a vintage beach cruiser theme, the design solution blends nostalgic aesthetics with modern functionality to create an inviting, laid-back experience.
The tagline, “Don’t speed, just Cruize,” forms the foundation of the brand’s visual identity and user experience. This philosophy is brought to life through a custom logo, thoughtfully selected color palette, digital applications, web presence, and marketing materials. By combining the charm of vintage beach cruisers with modern, eco-friendly electric bike technology, Cruize stands out as a brand that encourages people to slow down, embrace the moment, and enjoy the ride—free from the pressure of speed.
